Another watercolor painting on gessoed illustration board. I feel so free to dink around with these- the boards were origionally cut and gessoed for little studies with oil paintings- so anything that comes out looking like garbage can either be washed off (how cool is THAT!) or painted over!
This makes me feel free to really play around- to paint whatever, and try wierd colors, and compositions. It’s absolutely awesome to reconnect with my delight in exploration, my joy in colors. Not that it’s all artistic freedom- it required extreme self restraint to leave that luscious Lindt Chocolate alone! I’m such a chocolate hussy- *dramatic sigh* |
